As an assistant account executive, Lauren provides support for the health care management team responsible for assisting with marketing and communications development, media relations, event planning and account management.
Prior to joining MassMedia, Lauren served as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Delta Zeta National Sorority. As a consultant she travelled more than 48,000 miles to 38 universities across the United States conducting leadership development work with college women. Lauren partnered with key university administrators and local chapter advisors to form strategic plans to improve the organization.
In July of 2009, Lauren worked for Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry on Capitol Hill at the time of the initial Affordable Care Act markups in the Energy and Commerce Committee. She attended many of the committee hearings and provided research and talking points for Congressman Terry during the hearings.
Lauren is from Omaha, Neb. and graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a focus on public relations and a minor in political science. At Creighton, she was the President of her PRSSA chapter and was the Student Coordinator of the Freshman Leadership Program.
